Messick Group, Inc. is continuing the tradition started in 1951 by C.D. Messick, Jr. & Associates. 

Throughout the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s, C.D. Messick, Jr. & Associates became one of the premier engineering firms providing services within central Maryland. The firm grew to more than 50% of the engineering market share in the local Anne Arundel County and Annapolis area. In 1983 CD Messick, Jr. & Associates was sold to another local firm but opened again in 1986 as Messick & Associates simply to complete some personal projects for the Messick family. When the development community learned that Messick was back in business, they quickly came calling for engineering service help. For many years, Messick’s clients had come to know a level of service that was unsurpassed in the industry, and desired that same honesty, care and pride in their projects again.

Wayne Newton joined Messick & Associates, Inc. in 1991 and in 1994 became manager of the firm. In 1996, the firm was reorganized, creating Messick Group, Inc. T/A Messick & Associates. Since 1994, the firm has continued in the Messick tradition stated in the company history above. The company has increased in size and market share by providing honest, quality-oriented engineering solutions in a timely manner to our ever-growing client list.
